Spokane, WA – September 22–23, 2025 – The Kalispel Invitational, hosted by the Sunshine Club and the Kalispel Tribe of Indians at the historic Kalispel Golf and Country Club, has delivered it’s first two rounds of competitive women’s college golf. With just one round left to play, Santa Clara University and Gonzaga University have risen to the top of the team standings, while Gonzaga’s Grace Lee has taken control of the individual leaderboard.

Team Standings

Santa Clara leads the tournament at +3 overall, bolstered by steady play from their top scorers, Kelsey Kim and Alexa Pineda. The Broncos’ depth has allowed them to separate from the field, giving them a six-shot cushion over second-place Gonzaga (+9).

Seattle University is in third at +14, while Idaho and Montana State are tied for fourth at +17. With only one round remaining, Santa Clara will look to hold off a surging Gonzaga squad eager to make a final-day push on familiar Northwest turf.

Individual Leaders

The individual competition has been highlighted by Grace Lee (Gonzaga), who has dazzled with rounds of -5 and -1, putting her at -6 overall and giving her a four-shot advantage heading into the final day.

Chasing her is Kelsey Kim (Santa Clara) at -2, followed by teammate Alexa Pineda at -1, who rebounded impressively with a 3-under 69 in Round 2. Tsara Ralamboarison (Seattle) and Chloe Jang (Utah Valley) round out the top five at even par.

Host School Spotlight

Eastern Washington University, this year’s tournament host, sits in 10th place after two rounds. While not in contention for the team title, the Eagles are playing with pride in front of the home crowd, exemplifying the Sunshine Club’s mission to elevate the Inland Northwest through the game of golf.

Final Round Outlook

With both the team and individual titles still up for grabs, Tuesday’s final round is set for a dramatic finish. Santa Clara will try to protect its lead, while Gonzaga looks to close the gap. Individually, all eyes will be on Grace Lee, who seeks to cap her standout week with medalist honors.

First tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Kalispel Golf and Country Club.
