It Started in Spokane

In 1946, Spokane proudly hosted the very first U.S. Women’s Open Championship, paving the way for generations of women in golf.

In 2026, we’ll come full circle—returning to where it all began—to celebrate this remarkable 80-year milestone with a full weekend celebration, exhibition, and Pro-Am tournament. Join us as we honor the pioneers who shaped the game, recognize the champions who carried it forward, and inspire the next generation to dream even bigger.

Be part of history. Be part of the future.
