As Spokane celebrates the 80th anniversary of one of the most significant moments in golf history, attendees will have a unique opportunity to experience that history firsthand at the Spokane80 Legends Breakfast.
Hosted at The Kalispel Golf and Country Club, formerly known as Spokane Country Club and the original host site of the inaugural U.S. Women’s Open in 1946, the breakfast will bring together some of the game’s most recognizable names for an unforgettable morning of stories, inspiration, and celebration.
The featured guests include World Golf Hall of Famers Nancy Lopez and Sandra Palmer. Additional special guests will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets are just $75 per person and are available now.
A Once-in-a-Generation Experience
Few places in America can claim such an important place in the history of women’s golf.
In 1946, Spokane proudly hosted the very first U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Spokane Country Club, forever cementing the city’s place in golf history and helping launch what would become one of the sport’s most prestigious championships.
Now, eighty years later, Spokane80 returns to the very grounds where it all began.
The Legends Breakfast will allow attendees to gather at this historic venue while hearing firsthand from the women who have helped shape, grow, and inspire generations of golfers.
It’s more than a breakfast—it’s an opportunity to celebrate the legacy of women’s golf in the city that helped launch it.
Meet the Legends
Nancy Lopez
One of the most beloved figures in golf history, Nancy Lopez won 48 LPGA Tour events and three major championships during her Hall of Fame career. Her charisma, competitiveness, and impact on the game helped inspire countless women and girls to pick up a golf club.
Sandra Palmer
A World Golf Hall of Famer and one of the great champions of her era, Sandra Palmer won 19 LPGA Tour events, including two major championships. Her influence extends far beyond the course as a pioneer who helped shape the future of women’s professional golf.
The Heart of Spokane80
The Legends Breakfast is one of several signature events taking place during Spokane80, a weekend-long celebration honoring the 80th anniversary of the inaugural U.S. Women’s Open Championship.
From August 7-8, 2026, Spokane80 will celebrate the pioneers who built the game, recognize those who carried it forward, and inspire future generations to dream even bigger.
The Legends Breakfast embodies that mission by bringing together past, present, and future—all at the historic venue where women’s golf history was made.
